BlackMilk Clothing’s Hogwarts Life Collection

With the new Fantastic Beasts movie just a few weeks away, it’s the perfect time for Black Milk’s new Hogwarts Life fashion line. This Harry Potter inspired line is whimsical and full of magic. From the Quidditch active wear pieces to the flowing Invisibility Cloak Super Drape Top, each piece brings a small part of the Harry Potter Fandom to life.

I love that this line consists of different patterns. There are the Magic Sky, Magic Stars, House Mascots, a skirt with the Marauder’s Map on it, and a galaxy pattern on the Invisibility Cloak Super Drape Top. Fandom fashionistas can even get amazing bomber jackets in their house colors.

Along with the patterned pieces, there are sublimation printed tops with scenes from the movie on them – Flying Ford Anglia BFT and Great Hall Wifey Top. The Flying Ford Anglia is meant to be cut as a unisex piece. Ladies, this means it is supposed to fit like an over-sized boyfriend tee. I love a good boyfriend cut. This cut tends to be longer in the torso without being too wide across. Perfect cut to wear with some cute leggings or up-size and wear with some cute over the knee boots!

The Magic Sky Velvet pieces are beautiful. Personally, I’m obsessed with the Magic Sky Velvet Swan Kimono. The fabric is a polyester and elastane blend velvet, so it’s soft and flowy. The color is a rich navy, with ivory zodiac designs mixed with the four house symbols from Hogwarts. The kimono is ankle length, and the sleeves hit the wrists. This piece makes me feel like it belongs in the 1920’s fashion we saw in the first Fantastic Beasts. Other pieces with this pattern are the Magic Sky Velvet Longline Princess Dress and the Magic Sky Cuffed Shorts.

Black Milk did an amazing job with this collection. It’s trendy and fun. I can’t wait to get my hands on some of these pieces!
